I painted “Borderline” three months after moving to Austin, far from the Greek shores I love. This piece has been created three times, each one drawing me back to its story. Something about the balance between division and connection speaks to me… how borders can both protect and challenge us to grow. And there is always a question to be answered. What are your borders protecting you from, and what might they be keeping you from reaching? It’s a journey into the spaces between courage and comfort, risk and refuge—a visual reminder that the lines we draw are ours to reshape.

Borderline
“Borderlines… Obstacles or protection? Is the borderline protecting us from the unknown, or is it restricting us from our own transcendence? We all draw our line in the sand…”.
