This painting was inspired by a dream I had while living in the US, far from my family in Greece. In the dream, pebbles floated in darkness, each one holding a memory I had shared with loved ones. Slowly, they began to fade, drifting further away.
I woke up stressed… Memories come to us uninvited, but they fade if we don’t hold on to them.
The past, people and moments, shape who we are. I truly love every moment of my life that turned into a memory.
What I always seek is for people not to forget the love I shared with them… And though we may forget many things, some truths must remain: love endures.
