Lucidity

“Lucidity” was inspired by a fleeting moment of clarity, one of those rare instances when everything feels effortlessly beautiful. It reminded me of someone whose presence makes the world feel brighter, calmer, and infinitely more meaningful. Then I thought that it was our Creator.
As I painted, I thought about how such moments allow us to see beyond the noise of life. It’s in these connections, these lucid glimpses, that we discover beauty in the world around us and within ourselves. I felt loved, not only by people or myself… but also by the whole!
This painting holds that feeling, the moment that brings us back to what truly matters.
It has been chosen to be exhibited at the Texas State University Round Rock Campus at the opening of the ‘Re-Imagine’ show in March 2019.
