“Family is Forever” came to life during my time in the US, far from my beloved siblings and parents. I often thought about our younger years… the laughter around the table, the quiet support in difficult times, and how a simple hug could make everything feel okay.
As I painted, my thoughts drifted to the family I have built – my lovely husband and my three little ones, each with their own love, quirks, and quiet magic in my life. Late nights playing board games, gathering around the fireplace to tell fantasy stories, hiking along the river, climbing mountains… Those shared moments – simple, tender, and full of meaning – are what truly stay with us, no matter where life takes us.
This painting reminds me that family, in all its forms, is our anchor. It’s the quiet warmth we carry with us through life’s storms.
