A first note – and life begins.
Sounds and moments learn to coexist.
The heart, like a tambourine, sets the rhythm. Allegro.Some days move in legato. The cello speaks with the harp,
and rays of light dance, coloring dreams.Other days bring darker turns. A trumpet asks for silence.
I pause. I breathe. Every rest has meaning.And then – the sounds find one another.
The melody grows stronger. Crescendo. Finale.And suddenly I understand:
I am not listening to the music. I am inside it.The music moves through me, and I move with it,
offering my life to the perfect symphony.’
‘What is it that we always keep inside us?’ I heard a voice in my sleep.
‘Rhythm’ I replied. ‘When we go fast, when we go slow, when we stop.
Rhythm is music, it is dance, pauses, experiences… it is all of life.’
When I woke up, these words stayed in my mind. And that’s how the idea for this painting was born.
Everything starts with a note. And at some point everything stops.
