“I feel so lucky for my daughter Emily since Giota would like to open one class for Hawaii from last year. Emily is 6.5 years old now and has a short attention span like all 6-year olds. But I am amazed at how she can sit through an hour-long group painting class via zoom to complete a painting. I can see how she enjoys Giota’s class.

I appreciate how Giota encourages/inspires my daughter, although Emily is the youngest one. Emily is a shy and sensitive kid, but I can see how Giota inspires her. Last week Emily had picture day, and she wore a beautiful hair clip, which surprised me a lot because she feels uncomfortable dressing up in school. So I told Emily I was proud to see her move out of her shell to show her beauty. And she told me that is because of Giota.

Another story to share is about math learning. As an Asian mom, I typically hope my daughter can master math well and fast, and I tried to teach Emily in my old way. But it failed for sure. I felt so upset. Till one day, I told Emily that solving math problems just looked like drawing and guided her to draw out the word problem. After we practiced for a couple of days, Emily told me she could do better in math since she can draw better, as Giota told her. Finally, math gets much easier for her because of drawing and Giota. I shared my daughter’s story with many friends and Giota personally, but I would like to share it one more time in public because I want to recommend Giota to another lucky child like Emily!”.
