For a long time, I was trying to answer a question: Can we ever find perfect balance?
I used to think that one day I would. That if I organized my life better, made the right decisions, or worked a little harder, everything would finally fall into place.
But while painting this piece, I realized something. Balance is not a state we arrive at and keep forever. It changes as we change. Some days we focus on our goals, other days on the people we love. And sometimes, life simply asks us to slow down and take care of ourselves.
Maybe balance is not a destination after all. We need to be in motion, like a bicycle – it loses its balance when staying still.
Balance is the art of returning, again and again, to what matters most.
